Aired on World's Wildest Police Chases in Jan. 1999. The suspect was, at the time, 16 years old, and had allegedly stolen the car from his father's auto repair shop the night before. This was the first of many felony offenses he committed over the next three years before finally being sent to prison. Thankfully, no one was hurt during this incident. This was filmed long before the department was able to purchase spike strips or even in-car camera systems. Some officers don't mind policing themselves on video...a pre-response to those who may begin bad-mouthing law enforcement for there work on this thread.
